What's Beef Become?

I remember when rappers used to call out other rappers for being disrespected and a back-and-forth verbal battle would start between two people that genuinely had beef. Now though, it seems like beef is nothing more than people who want to call out big name artists to help generate some attention for themselves.

Look, I get it. If you call out MC Hammer for being a sucka, it wont really do as much for you than if you did the same to Jay-Z. But in actuality, the whole rationale is played out and should be controlled.

When rappers stoop down to a level where their income can only be measured by how many beefs they get into, THEY SHOULDN'T BE RAPPERS! They're nothing more than instigators and nobody likes an instigator.

Just something I was thinking about.
